Really, Fox News?

Fox Latin America has apologized for a poll that one of its staffers posted on a Facebook page asking who readers think is responsible for the death of Christ: Pontius Pilate, The Jewish People or the High Priests. The poll has been deleted. Anyone else want to see the results?

Rarely do Fox News related things surprise me anymore. This is an exception. The Jewish People. All of them. Collectively! How did I miss this poll?

Obama is becoming increasingly powerful. Who else has ever single handed ruined Christmas for entire families by playing golf!? Facism!

Alexandria Petri of the Washington Post brilliantly fixes the White House holiday card in a way that satisfies Sarah Palin and Fox News: full of “family, faith, and freedom.”

Serious journalism. According to Media Matters for America,

“This December, O’Reilly has covered the imaginary “War on Christmas” more than three times as much as the actual wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Obama, the Muslim president, intentionally ignores Christianity as the official religion of America and dares to wish us all “holidays [that] shine with the light of the season.” From the “article:”

The official White House holiday card makes no mention of the word ‘Christmas’ and instead focused on Bo the First Dog based on the wishes of the First Family.

“From our family to yours, may your holidays shine with the light of the season,” read the inside of the card, featuring the presidential seal.

 

The front of the card features Bo the First Dog lounging by a fireplace. Holiday greenery is draped over the fireplace mantle. Holiday presents are placed on a table underneath a poinsettia – instead of a Christmas tree.

Things I learned from this argument:

1. So, all people opposed to a mono-religious holiday season are anti-religious
2. If the people “diminishing Christmas” are anti-religious, and no one has declared a “War on Chanukah” or “War on Kwanza,” then Christmas must logically be the only legitimately religious holiday of this season.

I love the War on Christmas.
